New season, new surface: Heracles Almelo goes hybrid

After successfully returning to natural grass last season, Heracles Almelo has taken the next step in field performance and durability. The club has now installed a reinforced hybrid system featuring TenCate Monoslide® XQ® fibers, specifically developed for top-level football.

In close collaboration with CSC Sport and GrassMax, the stadium pitch has been upgraded with a hybrid structure that combines 93% natural grass with 7% synthetic reinforcement. This unique mix offers the best of both worlds: the natural feel and playability players love, with the added resilience needed for intensive use throughout a long season.

The result is a durable, consistent surface that’s ready to perform under pressure — in any weather, at any time.
