TenCate achieves ZWtL Gold validation for two new locations

We are proud to announce that we have received UL Solutions’ Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWtL) Gold Validation for two additional production sites: TenCate Thiolon USA in Dayton (95%), and ACE Sports Turf Landscaping in Georgia, US (96%). This achievement follows the recent Gold Validation of our largest manufacturing facility, TenCate Middle East in Dubai (96%). 

Reducing our environmental footprint 

Our dedication to sustainability is reflected in our efforts to minimize the environmental footprint at the source. By implementing innovative manufacturing techniques, investing in existing systems, and focusing on robust employee training and waste reduction campaigns, we have transitioned from traditional waste management methods to more sustainable practices like recycling and reuse of waste.

At the heart of our sustainability strategy is our commitment to minimizing waste, maximizing resource utilization, and preventing resource depletion. By pursuing Zero Waste to Landfill validation, we demonstrate our dedication to reducing waste and promoting circularity. This approach ensures that discarded materials from one operation become the source material for another, fostering a more sustainable and circular economy. 

With three sites now holding ZWTL validation, we are on track to achieve our goal of having all our global manufacturing sites validated by the end of 2024.
