It took us over 300 years… but we finally made it!
It may sound unlikely. A company founded in 1704 is now listed among the fastest-growing businesses in the Netherlands. Yet that’s exactly what happened: TenCate Grass has been included in the Top 250 by the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE).
This ranking is not about centuries of history, but about actual performance in the past three years. Each year, ECE and nlgroeit publish their research into Dutch high-growth firms, highlighting the companies that combine innovation with impact.
For us, the recognition carries an extra twist. It shows that growth isn’t about age, but about the ability to keep reinventing yourself. From humble looms in Almelo to high-tech sports surfaces played on across the globe.
Congratulations to the whole team for this outstanding achievement. The Top 250 is proof of what has been built in recent years — and a reminder that history and the future can go hand in hand.
