Past meets future in Nijverdal

In the heart of Twente in the Netherlands, a story began in 1704 that remains very much alive today. What started as handwoven linen in rural cottages grew into an international industrial icon: TenCate. With over 300 years of history as our foundation, we’re now taking the next step. In Nijverdal, where it all began, we’re building a future-ready 45,000 m² production site.

The new facility will house three factories under one roof and run on solar energy. It marks a major leap in both innovation and sustainability, saving 750,000 m³ of gas and reducing CO₂ emissions by 4,000 tons annually.
