Pure PT Installed at Shanghai Soong Ching Ling School

In September 2024, Shanghai Soong Ching Ling School (SCLS) became the first location in Asia to install a Pure PT field, marking a new chapter in sustainable turf innovation in the region.

Partnering for Delivery

The 4,175 m² surface was delivered in partnership with Borun Sport, GreenFields’ installation partner in China. Despite early logistical and production challenges linked to this being the first Pure PT production at the Safina factory and the school’s extreme tight delivery time requirement, the team worked tirelessly on site to ensure a solid outcome. Their efforts turned a difficult start into a successful installation, a result made possible through close collaboration and hands-on solving.

Daily Use, Positive Experience

The field is used daily by SCLS students for various sports and activities. Feedback from the school indicates that the surface feels soft, consistent, and comfortable to play on, supporting a positive experience for users of all ages.

The SCLS project represents the first step in expanding Pure PT across Asia.
