Mrs. Nikoleta Konstantinidou appointed as Group Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Director

As the global leader in synthetic turf, TenCate Grass allows for many people to play sports, exercise and do leisure, all over the world. Even where space is limited and water scarce. But we also carry a heavy responsibility to ensure that we minimise our environmental impact from the design, manufacture and maintenance of our products to recycling at the end of their use.

In doing so, we employ over 1.500 people, with more than 30 nationalities, in 15 countries. We are responsible for their personal development, for providing a healthy and safe working environment and for compensating them fairly. In addition, we want to ensure we are an organisation that offers equal opportunities and that is free of discrimination and harassment of any kind.

Finally, we interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, including but not limited to private and public customers, suppliers and governing bodies in various jurisdictions all over the world. This requires us to adhere to the highest ethical standards.

Michael Vogel, CEO: “With qualifications in Mineral Resources Engineering, Environmental Technology, Business Administration and Industrial Marketing, Nikoleta brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in ESG to TenCate Grass. She will be responsible for coordinating all our ESG activities worldwide and to further accelerate them. We really look forward to the fruits of her efforts.”
