Partnership KNHB and TenCate Grass extended

The Women’s Hockey World Championship, currently being played in Spain and the Netherlands, provided the perfect occasion for the Royal Dutch Hockey Association KNHB and TenCate Grass to extend their longstanding partnership, which started at the 2014 World Championship in The Hague, by another four years.

Erik Gerritsen, Director of the KNHB: “We are delighted that the co-operation with TenCate Grass has been prolonged. It is a valued partner and has been very supportive of the KNHB for a long time. The relationship is based on much more than ‘sponsorship’. TenCate Grass’ drive to further develop the surfaces we play on and, as importantly, to meet our sustainability goals, is very important to us.”

Michael Vogel, CEO of TenCate Grass: “It has been a pleasure to work with the KNHB over the many years. At TenCate Grass, sports is in our genes. We really enjoy being involved in the sport of hockey, from grass roots through the elite level. It gives as much satisfaction to see young kids playing on our surfaces as it is to see big tournaments being played on them, all over the world. We look forward to working with the team at the KNHB for the next four years.”
